Global commodity chains and production networks, labour markets, political economy of development, violent conflict, state formation, and agrarian change

PhD research: 
This research project aims to investigate rubber and iron ore commodity chains/production networks in Liberia. The aim is to establish how these commodity chains have impacted on Liberia’s development to date.
